Dr. Philip Worthington

Dr. Philip Worthington grew up in Fairfax, Virginia. He began his career as a corporate and securities attorney in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he practiced for two years. After realizing his true passion lay elsewhere, he decided to pursue dentistry. Dr. Worthington practiced as a general dentist for four years at the David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Base in California and continues to serve as a dentist in the Air Force Reserve at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro. He loves the field of orthodontics because of the opportunity it provides to connect with patients while working together to design beautiful smiles. Dr. Worthington lives in Durham with his wife, Jamie, and their five children: Wade, Norah, Holl, Avy, and Mary Graham. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with Jamie, taking Wade fishing, visiting local bookstores with Norah, coaching Holland’s soccer team, practicing volleyball with Avy, attending Mary Graham’s gymnastics competitions, and following UVA sports.
