Dr. Lauren Wiese started as an orthodontist in New Jersey for 4 years before moving to North Carolina where she now calls home. Her husband, Dr. John Nelson attended his orthodontic residency at UNC in Chapel Hill. She is passionate about making the world a better place one smile at a time! In her free time, Dr. Wiese loves spending time with John and Alex, traveling, eating, and being active (she completed her first sprint triathlon last year)! She is thrilled to join the Gladwell Orthodontics amazing team and continue creating beautiful smiles!

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University
- Dental School at Rutgers University
- Graduated first in her class
- Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society
- Orthodontic training and Master’s Degree from University of Maryland in Baltimore
