Dr. Wiese graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and then attended dental school at Rutgers University in New Jersey. After graduating first in her dental school class and being inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, Dr. Wiese completed her orthodontic training and master’s degree at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She is passionate about making the world a better place one smile at a time!
After having worked as an orthodontist in New Jersey for the last four years, Dr. Wiese is excited to now call North Carolina home and explore the area. Her husband, Dr. John Nelson, is an orthodontic resident at UNC in Chapel Hill and they recently welcomed their son Alexander into their family. In her free time, Dr. Wiese loves spending time with John and Alex, traveling, eating, and being active (she completed her first sprint triathlon last year)! She is thrilled to join the Gladwell Orthodontics amazing team and continue creating beautiful smiles!
