We offer both traditional metal braces and Invisalign. Metal braces have been around since the early 1800s and are made of metal wires and brackets. They are permanently placed on top of the teeth and need to be adjusted every month. Most patients wear metal braces for 18 months to two years. However, sometimes treatment takes longer.
Invisalign made its debut around the year 2000 and has been a popular alternative to traditional metal braces ever since. Invisalign aligners are comprised of plastic and designed to slip over the teeth. They differ from traditional metal braces because they are removable and can be replaced every two weeks or so.
