Dr. Ben Anders is a native of Asheville. He received a BS in public health from UNC-Chapel Hill Gillings School of Global Public Health and a DDS from UNC School of Dentistry where he attended on a U.S. Air Force scholarship. He served three years as an advanced general dentist at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo, Japan. Following his military service, Dr. Anders pursued specialty training in orthodontics by completing a three-year residency and a Master’s in Dental Science at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey. His goal is to make each of his patients feel welcomed, heard, and excited about the positive impact that orthodontics can make on their smile, function, aesthetics, and overall quality of life. Dr. Anders lives in Raleigh with his wife Allison and kids Maxwell and Poppy. When not in full Dad Mode, he enjoys cooking, running, home improvement projects, and exploring parks around the Triangle.
